2 teens accused of trying to burglarize North New Hyde Park home

Two teens were arrested for allegedly attempting to burglarize a home in North New Hyde Park.

The homeowners told police that they received a motion alert on their video camera. Police say a homeowner then went outside to find the suspects trying to get into the home through a window.

The pair quickly drove off.

The teens, ages 16 and 18, from Queens, now face several charges, including attempted burglary.
