Suffolk police say stray bullets struck two homes Saturday morning in Dix Hills.

Suffolk police say stray bullets struck two homes Saturday morning in Dix Hills.
Officers responded to the homes on Woodedge Drive around 7 a.m. They were each struck once. There were no injuries, and no one was inside the home at the time of the incident.
After investigating, police determined that the shots were apparently fired from the eastbound lanes of the Northern State Parkway.
Richard Capuozzo, who lives in one of the homes told News 12 that police found a bullet in his dishwasher.
