A kitten was rescued by police Sunday after it fell down a storm drain in Lindenhurst.

A kitten was rescued by police Sunday after it fell down a storm drain in Lindenhurst.
The call for help came around 11:15 a.m.
Suffolk police officers responded to Wellwood Avenue and Berry Street where they found the trapped feline. Emergency Service Section Officers Michael Casper and David Katzen climbed into the drain and were able to safely get the kitten out.
A good Samaritan took the kitten to the vet.
