Westbound lanes were closed on Sunrise Highway in the Oakdale area Saturday afternoon as crews responded to a truck fire.

Viewer video sent in to News 12 appeared to show flames and smoke billowing from the cab portion of a tanker truck.

Police say it happened around 2:15 p.m. The highway's westbound lanes were closed at Exit 47 as the Bohemia Fire Department responded to the scene.

No injuries were reported.

Witnesses say they heard an explosion just before it happened.
