Police: Man throws laptop at Microsoft employee, steals controller in East Garden City

Police say a Queens man threw a laptop at a Microsoft employee and then stole a controller in East Garden City Friday.

Police say a Queens man threw a laptop at a Microsoft employee and then stole a controller in East Garden City Friday.
They say Ashley Eugene tried to return a wireless gaming controller at the Microsoft store. News 12 is told Eugene became irate, took a replacement and tried to leave.
When he was confronted, police say he allegedly threw a laptop at an employee and took off with the controller.
Police say Eugene eventually came back to the store waving a knife.
He was taken into custody.
