Nassau, Suffolk officers battle it out for tug-of-war glory

Nassau and Suffolk police officers faced off in the 12th Annual Long Island Police Tug-Of-War Championship at Jones Beach Friday night.

The event raises money for Hope for the Warriors, a nonprofit that helps military families.

The host of the event, WBAB 102.3 says the event is friendly competition for a good cause.

Nassau's female officers won the first round of the competition.
