Police: Florida man tries to use phony ID to buy Bentley in Jericho

A Florida man is accused of trying to buy a $135,000 luxury car with a fake ID in Jericho.
Police say James Gibson, of Orlando, tried to pick up the 2015 Bentley yesterday at the Bespoke Motor Group in Jericho.
The car had been bought by a broker in a “sign-and-drive” agreement.
The company's president became suspicious of Gibson and called police. Detectives say Gibson had a fake New Jersey license in the real buyer's name, a fake Florida driver's license and a bogus American Express credit card.
