A service dog made a live-saving rescue on a plane to Florida.
Britt Grogan and her toy poodle Ruxx were on a Frontier flight from New Jersey to Florida, when her blood sugar started dropping fast.
Ruxx was trained by a specialized coach that also teaches bomb-sniffing dogs and can detect when Grogan’s blood sugar dips.
When the dog noticed her condition was changing, he started aggressively digging in her lap to wake her up.
"He was so amazing on the plane - he wasn't going to stop until I woke up,” says Grogan. “I mean, I felt like he was digging a hole in my leg."
Dog trainer Shay Maimoni says the dog probably saved her life.
