A puppy from Long Island is going home with a Major League Baseball player.
Mets baseball player Jeff McNeil hit a home run after holding Willow from the North Shore Animal League.
McNeil adopted the puppy the next day, saying he fell in love with the dog when the Port Washington-based animal shelter brought some of their dogs to Citi Field.
