BABYLON -

The body of a missing dog that went overboard in Babylon was found by a boater, according to the Fire Island Coast Guard.

The Yorkie named J'Adore went missing Thursday night after her owners say she either fell or jumped off of their boat into the bay by Cedar Beach Marina.

Strangers took to their boats and some flew drones to look for the dog.

Albert Chmielewski, of Copiague, says he is devastated but grateful for everyone helped try to find his pet.

He says he wishes he had more time with J'Adore but at least now he has some closure.
