True Crime Long Island: Did ‘body brokers’ lead to Jenna Jacobsen’s murder? - listen here

Jenna Jacobsen checked herself into a New Jersey drug treatment facility in September 2018. Without her family knowing, she checked herself out earlier this year and booked a flight to Florida. She vanished in April.

Her body was found five weeks later by the side of a road. Police say she was murdered. Her aunt believes she was abducted and killed after being lured to Florida by patient brokers - sometimes called body brokers.

The above bills were provided to News 12 by Claudia Ragni of the Kenneth Peters Center for Recovery. She says they came from a patient who enrolled in an unscrupulous rehab facility. It lists Pathology Labs from Jan. 26, 2016 to Feb. 17, 2016 – billed at $4,902.00. She says it was for routine urine testing, which should not cost the patient that amount.”

These bills were provided to News 12 by Claudia Ragni of the Kenneth Peters Center for Recovery. She says it came from a patient who enrolled in an unscrupulous rehab facility in Florida. The final patient responsibility - $20,198.76.
