PATCHOGUE -

Police say they arrested a homeless man who was wanted for burglarizing a church and a home in Patchogue.

Authorities say they found Bruce Roman Wednesday night squatting in a boat that was on the property of the Patchogue home that police say he burglarized.

They say he had the homeowner's tools and a BB gun in his possession.

Police say he also admitted to breaking into Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church on North Ocean Avenue in North Patchogue last month and stealing cash from donation boxes.
