Law prohibits school districts from trying to arm teachers

Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a law Wednesday that bans teachers from carrying guns on school grounds.
Resource officers, law enforcement officials and security guards are exempt from the measure. 
The new law will stop any local districts from trying to arm teachers.
"The answer to the gun violence epidemic plaguing this country has never been and never will be more guns,” says Gov. Cuomo.
