WOODBURY -

A Queens man is accused of a breaking into homes in some Nassau apartment complexes, police say.

They say Adron Douglas broke into the Island Park Senior Citizen Housing complex last July. Then, just hours later, police say he burglarized Crescent Apartments in East Rockaway.

And a week after that Douglas was accused of breaking into the Town of Oyster Bay Housing Authority in Hicksville.

Surveillance video and DNA eventually led detectives to Douglas.

But News 12 is told that Douglas was found on Rikers Island, being held for an unrelated incident.
