Police say one person is dead and another person is injured following a car crash in Baiting Hollow Friday night.
Riverhead police say an SUV hit a utility pole on Sound Avenue just after 9:30 p.m.
News 12 is told one person in the vehicle died at the hospital. The other was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The victims' names have not been released.
