Whitney Houston’s hologram is going on tour next year. The iconic singer died in 2012, but “Base Holograms” is bringing her back on stage for performances in 2020. Since last year, the company has toured two different hologram musicians.
American Airlines has canceled its Boeing 737 Max flights until Nov. 2. The airline has 14 of the jets in its fleet, and has had to cancel thousands of flights since its grounding in March. Boeing developed a software fix for the planes, and American was expecting to resume flights in September. However, officials have not yet said when they will allow the jet back in the sky. American says the suspension will cause 115 canceled flights a day, until November.
The “Lion King” had a strong opening in China over the weekend. Disney’s new film took in $54.7 million in its debut, beating “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Jungle Book” and “Aladdin.” The movie is expected to take in around $175 million when it hits theaters in the U.S. This comes after mixed reviews from critics, who were not all happy with the re-imagining. “The Lion King” only has a 59% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
