Mineola man dies after being pulled from water at Captree State Park

Police say a Mineola man was found dead in the water at Captree State Park.

State Park Police say they received a call just after 1 a.m. Wednesday of a man in the water.

Coast Guard crews found Sheng Liu, got him back onto the dock and began performing CPR.

The 54-year-old Mineola man was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Officials believe Liu may have been trying to get a crab net after a line came free.
