GARDEN CITY -

A local boy sang his heart out on “America’s Got Talent,” and received the last golden buzzer last night on the show.

Luke Islam, from Garden City, went onto the show, singing the song ‘She Used to Be Mine’ from the Broadway musical “Waitress.”

Judge Julianne Hough – Islam’s favorite out of all the judges – hit the golden buzzer, saying his dreams will come true and that he’s “going to be a star.”

Winning the golden buzzer puts Islam right into the live rounds of the show.
