A Roosevelt man accused of trying to abduct a teenager in Uniondale is facing multiple charges.
Police say Jarrod James, 24, followed and repeatedly grabbed a 13-year-old girl Tuesday afternoon as she walked home from school.
The child was able to get away and run home to safety.
James is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, assault and attempted kidnapping.
