Children and workers got a big scare at a day care center in Baldwin Tuesday.

It happened at the Play Day Care Center on Grand Avenue.

Police say Kevin Johnson, who is homeless, yelled and cursed at the kids and their teachers.

Authorities say the children were rushed inside, and that's when Johnson tried to break the front window with a construction cone.

Workers called 911 and Johnson was arrested.
