Police say a pedestrian was struck by a car while walking on West Main Street in Patchogue Saturday night.

Police say a pedestrian was struck by a car while walking on West Main Street in Patchogue Saturday night.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. They say the victim stepped into the roadway and was struck by a passing car.
He was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
News 12 is told the driver stayed at the scene and no charges have been filed.
