Police say a Medford woman is in custody after her 2-year-old twin girls were found in cardiac arrest inside a car in Montauk Thursday.

Officials say they received a 911 call regarding a possible suicidal woman and her two children.

Following an extensive search from Medford to Montauk, police say they located the woman's vehicle at a Montauk park.

Police say the children were found inside the vehicle in cardiac arrest. They were transported to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
