COPIAGUE -

Police say two 15-year-olds are accused of stealing a car and then leading police on a chase from Wyandanch to Copiague.

According to police, it started when they spotted a car driving erratically on Straight Path in Wyandanch around 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say the Honda had been stolen in Nassau. When officers tried to stop the car, the driver took off.

A police helicopter then tracked the car down on New Highway and Ralph Avenue in Copiague. They say the driver and two passengers then took off. Two of them were tracked down by K-9 officers and arrested.

A third suspect got away.
