3 injured in Smithtown crash that caused Jeep to overturn

Authorities say three people were hurt in a two-car crash in Smithtown that caused one vehicle to overturn.

Police say the driver of a Honda Accord tried to make a right turn and slammed into a Jeep, causing the Jeep to overturn.

The 20-year-old driver of the Honda was seriously hurt.

The driver of the Jeep and a passenger inside the Honda were both taken to Stony Brook Hospital and are expected to be OK.

The identities of those involved have not been released.
