There’s a new push to get everyone on Long Island a measles vaccine in the wake of a confirmed case in Suffolk County two weeks ago.
Hudson River Healthcare on Thursday administered the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine, or MMR, in Patchogue on the corner of East Main Street and Case Avenue.
Organizers say the clinic was part of a larger "measles action plan" unveiled Thursday.
More than 750 measles cases have been reported so far this year in the United States, with New York leading the way.
