A former NYPD officer from Seaford has been sentenced to prison time for his role in a corruption scandal, according to Newsday.

A former NYPD officer from Seaford has been sentenced to prison time for his role in a corruption scandal, according to Newsday.
Robert Espinel was sentenced to a year and a day in prison. Espinel was charged with taking bribes to expedite gun licenses and then retiring and working to develop a business by paying other members of the licensing division to expedite permits for private clients in 2017.
He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to pay bribes.
