A Rocky Point man secretly video recorded his former co-workers while they were using the bathroom in their Ronkonkoma office, police say.
Michael Evans, 32, allegedly hid a camera in the ladies' room at Trinity Solar in Ronkonkoma last month.
According to prosecutors, the suspect installed the recording device in the restroom on three separate occasions. Authorities say it was plugged into a wall socket and was disguised to look like a phone charger.
It's not yet clear how many people may have been victimized.
Evans was charged with 12 counts of unlawful surveillance. He had nothing to say to News 12 upon leaving the courthouse.
News 12 reached out to Trinity Solar for a comment, but has not yet heard back.
Police say Evans is no longer employed by that company.
