A Westbury man is accused of robbing an acquaintance with a box cutter in Roosevelt.

Police say Monday morning the victim got into a car with Ayman Hubud and two other men he didn't know.

According to police, Hubud then drove to Meyer and East Greenwich streets in Roosevelt. That’s when the 23-year-old allegedly pulled out the box cutter.

Police say when the victim got out of the car to run, Hubud and the two other guys allegedly beat him and took his cellphone, money and medication.

Police are still looking for those two other suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
