'You're a coward': Uniondale mother seeks justice for slain son

Friday marked four months since the fatal shooting of Uniondale man whose killer has not been found.
Susan Brown has a clear message for her son's killer: "You're not a man, you're a coward, you continue to hide. How dare you take my son from me."
On Dec. 12, police say 24-year old Terrance Brown and another man were shot while sitting in a parked car near Jerusalem Avenue in Uniondale. Police called it an ambush. The shooter got away, and Brown died of his injuries a few days later.
A news conference and vigil Friday were organized by STRONG. Brown was joined by other families affected by gun violence.
Police say the case is still active. Anyone who may have additional information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
