Body of Marine from Locust Valley arrives at Dover Air Force Base

As News 12 has reported, Marine Cpl. Robert Hendriks died Monday in a roadside bombing in Afghanistan.

The remains of a Locust Valley Marine have been returned to the United States.
Marine Cpl. Robert Hendriks arrived at the Dover Air Force Base in Delaware on Thursday.
As News 12 has reported, the 25-year-old died Monday in a roadside bombing in Afghanistan.
Hendriks was deployed in October as an infantry machine gun specialist and wanted to become a police officer after serving his time.  
He was set to come home in just a month.
