Newsday: Suffolk officers enrolled in Spanish pilot program

Nearly 20 Suffolk police officers have enrolled in a Spanish language pilot program, according to Newsday.
Police say it's intended to help officers better serve Long Island's growing Spanish-speaking community.
Those enrolled will learn how to ask important questions like, "Who is injured?" and, "Do you need an ambulance?"
The course runs for more then seven weeks. Newsday reports that it started last month.
