Man wanted in armed robbery of Farmingdale pharmacy

Police are asking for the public's help in the search for the man who robbed a Farmingdale pharmacy at gunpoint.

Police released surveillance pictures of the man they say held up County Line Pharmacy Thursday around 4 p.m.

Authorities say the man demanded drugs from the pharmacist.

The pharmacist gave the suspect the drugs and the suspect took off towards Great Neck Road.

The man is described as white, between 35 and 40 years old and about 5 foot 8 with a stocky build.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
