It's the end of the road for two “American Idol” hopefuls from Long Island.
North Fork favorite Jackson Gillies and Hampton Bays hometown hero Christiaan Padavan were in the group sent home after Hollywood week on "American Idol."
Padavan, who also sailed through his audition and advanced to the next round, did not advance beyond Hollywood week.
In a message on Facebook he said. "Sadly, I did not make it through to the Top 40. Our group was something out of 'Pitch Perfect,' it's a shame we'll never be able to see it but, hey, that's show business!"
He added. "Trust me when I say, this is not the end…just the beginning."
Gillies covered John Mayer in his Lines of 10 performance, but it wasn't shown on air.
