Police are working to track down the thieves behind a phone scam that swindled more than $100,000 from a Massapequa senior citizen.

Police are working to track down the thieves behind a phone scam that swindled more than $100,000 from a Massapequa senior citizen.
Detectives say the 92-year-old man was told to buy a $500 anti-virus software for his laptop.
Then scammers then allegedly claimed money had been mistakenly deposited into the victim's account and needed to be returned.
Investigators say he wound up getting swindled out of $129,000.
