Morris County ranked healthiest county in New Jersey; Cumberland unhealthiest
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute have ranked all 21 counties in New Jersey from the healthiest to least healthy.

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute have ranked all 21 counties in New Jersey from the healthiest to least healthy.
More than 30 different health factors were examined.
According to the ranking, Morris County is healthiest in the state, as it was back in 2018.
In the county, just 5 percent of children live in poverty, compared to 14 percent statewide.
Cumberland County came out as the unhealthiest.
Among its findings, the county had double the statewide rate of STDs last year, and three times the statewide teen birth rate.
The county also recorded a higher unemployment rate and higher rates of adult smoking and obesity.
