Dick's Sporting Goods to stop selling guns at 125 locations

Dick's Sporting Goods has announced it is removing guns from more than 100 of its stores.

The sporting goods chain cites slumping sales.

The store says it will pull the firearms from 125 of its locations starting in August.

News 12 Long Island has been told that none of the stores on Long Island will be impacted.

Dick's stopped selling assault style guns last year.
