Two alleged MS-13 gang members from Queens have been charged with weapon and drug possession in Nassau County.

Police say Victor Leon was smoking marijuana when they stopped his car Saturday night in Hempstead.

During the traffic stop, police say his passenger, Eric Monge, took a handgun out of his sweatshirt and tried to hide it under his legs.

Inside the car, police say they found 13 bags of marijuana.
