A man was fatally shot and two others injured after police say at least 20 shots were fired at them in Bridgeport.

The incident happened Sunday outside 553 Hollister Ave. around 7:30 p.m.

A 21-year-old man was rushed to the hospital after the shooting but police say he later died.

A 17 and 22-year-old who were inside the car also suffered non-life threatening injuries.

According to police, the three men were sitting inside of a parked car when someone began shooting into the vehicle.

Police say at least 20 shots were fired.

The victims used the car to drive the 21-year-old man to the hospital, police say.
