Kohl's is teaming up with Planet Fitness.

The department store announced it is shrinking 10 of its stores, and Planet Fitness will move into the unused space.

Kohl's hopes people will work out at the gym, then shop for athletic gear at its stores.

Kohl's has been cutting the size of stores to save money on inventory and reduce the number of workers.

It is not clear if gyms will move into any Long Island Kohl's stores.
