Cops: Woman stole merchandise, attacked workers at Westbury store

WESTBURY -

Police say a woman is accused of attacking workers and biting one of them, while trying to steal merchandise from a Nassau clothing store.

According to police, Shannon Ziv was arrested Monday at the Saks Off 5th on Old Country Road in Westbury.

Police say the 35-year-old from Brooklyn stole merchandise, then got into a fight with the two employees. Ziv is accused of biting one of the workers in the arm.

Ziv will face a judge on charges including assault and robbery.
