Swastika, anti-Semitic words found at Jewish center in Searingtown

Messages of hate were discovered at a Jewish center on Nassau's North Shore.

A swastika and anti-Semitic words were written on a painting at the Shelter Rock Jewish Center in Searingtown.

Police say the director of education made the discovery Sunday morning while walking down a stairwell, which News 12 has been told is not commonly used.

Anyone with information is asked to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
