Firefighters in Brentwood helped deliver a newborn baby girl Saturday morning.
News 12 is told the mother went into labor at home around 5:40 a.m., but a taxi she called never showed up.
She walked to the nearby East Brentwood Fire Department and, with the help of an EMT, delivered the baby girl in the station.
Officials say the mother and daughter are at Southside Hospital and are doing fine.
