CORAM -

Two tires of a Suffolk County Transit bus got stuck in a sinkhole caused by a water main break in Coram Friday afternoon.

The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. on Old Town Road at Brookwood Drive.

The impact broke off a large piece of the bus.

Three people, including the driver, were on board at the time, but no one was hurt.

The bus was removed from the sinkhole, but the road was shut down while repairs were made to the water main.
