Fairfield police: Teen smoked pot right before flipping garbage truck

A teen admitted to smoking marijuana right before flipping a garbage truck over on a Fairfield street, police say.
Anthony Bustillo, 19, of Bridgeport, is facing charges of reckless driving and reckless endangerment.
Surveillance video captured the moments after Bustillo, a driver for 1800-GotJunk, lost control of the truck on Greenfield Street Thursday afternoon.
The video shows the truck skidding on its side before hitting a rock and hurling trash into the air.
The video was captured by a surveillance camera outside of a pre-school.
Police say Bustillo told officers he smoked pot right before the crash. They say he also told police he was rushing to his girlfriend's house nearby.
A friend was in the truck but the two did not suffer any injuries, police say.
Bustillo was released on a $400 cash bond and is expected to appear in court on March 12.
The owner of 1800-GotJunk says Bustillo was terminated immediately following the incident, adding his actions don't reflect the company's emphasis on safety and responsible conduct.
