According to investigators, violence and drugs were used to force the women into sex.

Police: 11 Suffolk residents charged in sex trafficking ring
Investigators say they've busted a sex trafficking ring on Long Island.
According to investigators, violence and drugs were used to force the women into sex.
A total of 11 Suffolk residents are charged from West Babylon to Mastic.
They are accused of victimizing at least 10 young women.
News 12 has been told the young women were forced to have sex through assaults and threats and were taken to places throughout New York and Connecticut.
The 11 suspects also allegedly withheld drugs from the women, unless they cooperated.
