CT man charged in connection to Kraft solicitation case in Florida
A Greenwich man has charged in the same prostitution case in Florida involving New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
Jonathan Weiss, 33, is one of 24 other men who will face charges for allegedly soliciting at a day spa in Jupiter, Florida.
The charges come after a monthslong investigation into the Orchids of Asia Day Spa.
Prosecutors say the spa is a front for sex trafficking.
A total of 10 spas in the area have been closed and several people have been taken into custody on sex-trafficking charges, including four “madams.”
The Palm Beach Post reports many of the women at the spas came to the U.S. from China expecting jobs, only to be forced to work in the sex trade.
