A United Airlines flight from Germany to Newark was diverted Wednesday following the death of a passenger.

According to reports, a 70-year-old woman died on the flight, despite attempts by crew and passengers to resuscitate her.

The pilot was forced to make an unscheduled landing in Ireland.

There's no word on the cause of her death.
