A video out of Lakewood shows some scary moments after a young student was almost hit by a bus that just dropped him off.
The incident happened last Thursday around 4:15 p.m.
The video shows the student managing to jump out of the way just in time.
The bus is seen pausing for a minute, and then continuing on.
In the video, it appears the bus did not have a safety arm designed to prevent tragedies caused by an obstructed view.
The bus has been taken out of service and charges against the operator of the bus are pending.
