Police: Candy sale gone bad led to Bed-Stuy bodega stabbing

Police say they are searching for a suspect who stabbed a father and son after trying to steal candy from their bodega.
The incident occurred inside Monday Saveland Deli & Grocery on Saratoga Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
The owner, who asked not to be identified, says a man in the store got mad because he couldn't use his EBT card to buy candy. The owner says he tried to take the candy anyway without paying.
The owner says his son went after him, then he came out and took the candy back. He then called police.
Before police could show up, the owner says the man came back to the store with a knife. He says the man tried to stab him and he wound up cutting his hand. His son was stabbed, then treated and released from the hospital.
No arrests have been made.
