Police: Couple used stolen credit cards to make $10K in purchases

GARDEN CITY -

Police are searching for a couple accused of stealing credit cards from a woman's purse at an East Garden City restaurant.

Police say the man and woman stole two credit cards from a woman's wallet at Capital Grill, then used them to make $10,000 in unauthorized purchases.

Authorities are urging anyone who recognizes them to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
